The Purple Dog is ideal for small groups of friends looking to get away together and family holidays. A lovely private garden with citrus trees and stunning mountain views will spoil your soul and make you wish you could stay forever. Therefore, to really appreciate the beauty of the surroundings and to experience Greyton at its best, a two night stay is recommended. Of course we also offer a speedy WIFI connection in case you work remotely or just want to stay connected. The house is backed up using a solar and inverter/battery system during loadshedding.

The self-catering holiday house offers three modern bedrooms and two bathrooms for up to six guests with excellent quality beds and linen:
1 x Queen Bed, en suite
1 x Double Bed, shared bathroom
1 x 2 Single Beds, shared bathroom
Two additional folding mattresses exist (including blankets, pillows and linen), if there are more children. Towels are also provided.
The upmarket furniture and artistic interior mixes perfectly in keeping with its location: sun-kissed open plan living, dining and kitchen area with bar, cooking island and a hobby chef's array of pots, pans and appliances.
The fully equipped kitchen with a large cooking island makes cooking at home fun. It includes various amenities: from a kettle, toaster and microwave to a classic gas stove and oven, and of course a dish washing machine and everything in between.
There is plenty of space inside and outside the house with inviting open lounge dining areas. The huge patio, our spacious boma and a beautiful old oak tree are an invitation to entertain your family and friends for a home cooked meal or braai. In winter the under floor heating and a free standing fireplace will keep you warm while you enjoy a glass of red wine from our area.
